ARIC at "The Long Night Of Research"

The “Long Night of Research” (“Lange Nacht der Forschung”) took place on May 20th, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. throughout Austria. The AGRANA Research & Innovation Center was there again this time and presented the most exciting research projects of the respective departments at a station in the UFT (University and Research Center Tulln). From various fruit preparations, showpieces of the microbiological analyses, representation of sugar production to starch applications in cosmetics and in the technical area (construction, paper and adhesive applications, biodegradable plastic films), the visitors could get an insight into the research work of the ARIC. Furthermore, a small guessing game about different starch products and a hands-on station awaited the visitors.
