This year, the prize was awarded to Dr. Cordula Moser for her dissertation entitled "Characterization of the bacterial population in an Austrian sugar beet factory and the effect of rosin acids". The doctoral thesis was carried out at the AGRANA Research & Innovation Center GmbH in cooperation with BOKU (Institute of Food Science).
